When I started to do my research on the upcoming election all I knew was what I have seen on the news and Commercials on Meg Whitman and Jerry Brown. They commercials that I watched were pretty hard not to get mad about the things that you heard about Whitman or Brown. It kind of hard to get I true feeling for who I wanted to vote for. I didn’t even know what day that we hard to vote.
When doing more research and staying away from commercials I started by just goggling both of Whitman and Brown this helped me a little bit but I was stilling busiest information when I started to look at web sites like politics 101 I started to just get the facts about both candidates. I learned both of their views and what I thought witch candidates most fit my views.
I also found that they can be Governor for two terms witch I think is a pretty long time and it is important that we get the right person in office. We also vote November 2, 2010 I also found out that there was more than Whitman and Brown running there also is a candidate that is running Chelene Nightingale. But you don’t hear much about this candidate. There are also many more candidates that are running like Laura Wells, Dale Ogden, and Carlos Alvarez.
I few things that learned about Whitman on education she supports “policies that will allow undocumented immigrants admission to state- funded institutions of higher education”. On Marriage she believes that the same sex couples should not be able to adopt children. She supports Abortion rights but not after late term abortion. She is not for legalizing Marijuana.
I also learned something about Brown. I thought it was interacting that Brown declined proposition 8 when on all of those commercials they say other whys.
